Spread professional-looking invertebrate specimens all by yourself! Each insect activity set contains the tools you need to spread your own insects and arachnids at home. Instructions for preparing several kinds of insects, as well as specimens, are available here.

Each tool set includes the following:

• Spreading board

• Box of 100 #4 tempered steel entomology pins in a storage box

• Rehydration sponge

• Two 2” x 3” wing spreading glass slides in a storage envelope

• Professional repair adhesive and applicator

• A little treat!

You will need to provide a small amount of water and a container (any zip-lock bag, tupperware, etc. that you already have on hand) and specimens to create a project.

Parts of the tool sets may vary slightly in size because I cut the boards and glass slides by hand and assemble everything myself! Each insect activity set is made to order.
