Spread your own cicada specimen using a tool set you get to keep. All ages welcome, no experience necessary. Specimens require time to prepare, so you must be registered in advance in order to attend. Register here.

Kids’ Parties

Book a private party in my studio for up to twelve children. One adult per three children under age 12 must be present during the class. Parties last one and a half hours and consist of an activity and show and tell with real specimens. Activities: butterfly preservation, beetle preservation, flower pressing, cyanotypes, or owl pellet dissection. More complicated specimens available for older teens. Private parties for adults

Book a private party in my studio for up to twelve adults. Whether it’s a birthday party, bachelorette party, or just getting together with friends you haven’t seen in awhile, I’d love to be a part of it. Adult parties last two hours and consist of an activity and show and tell with real specimens. Activities: insect or arachnid preservation (choose from butterflies, beetles, cicadas, scorpions, and more), flower pressing, owl pellet dissection, wet specimen embalming, taxidermy demonstrations, or cyanotypes. You can also opt for a longer event and choose multiple activities. Catering, libations, and goodie bags available. Corporate Events

I’ll come to your workplace for activities with up to 30 adults at a time. Choose butterfly spreading, beetle spreading, flower pressing, owl pellet dissection, or cyanotypes as your activity or opt for multiple activities. I will bring all supplies and your team will enjoy spending time with each other during a unique experience that leaves them with a little piece of nature to keep.
