At my studio in Chicago:
Six seats available. All ages welcome. No experience necessary.
Learn to prepare and spread for display one Peruvian giant cicada specimen to keep. These specimens are the largest cicada native to the Americas!
All tools are included and are yours to keep as well, and the workshop includes follow-up information so you can frame and display your specimen at home and repeat the process with other specimens using your tool kit — just in time for Chicago’s cicada season!
Please bring a bag or box to transport your spread specimen home. More information will be included in the introductory email sent before your class.

One week before the class, registered students will receive an email with my studio address, instructions on checking in at the front desk, and more. A free parking lot is available immediately in front of the front door, and we have a wheelchair ramp and an elevator!

PRIVATE EVENTS
I offer private, single-day entomology workshops at my studio in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood for students of any age or skill level. Think child and adult birthday parties, team building, bachelorette parties, etc! I can host 6-24 students at a time for private parties at $90 per person and have a large selection of specimens such as butterflies, beetles, moths, and cicadas available. Each participant leaves with their own specimen. Inquire for availability. Minimum 6 participants or $540.
I am also available to travel for private events, as well as workshops at your school, museum, or business.
