What will students learn?
You will be provided with a pigeon that has already been skinned and fleshed so that we can dive right into the fun part - making it look alive again! You will learn about the processes that have been done for you and will be given a PDF guide to bird taxidermy. Upon arrival you will learn how to clean the skull, set your bird's eyes, wire the neck with foam, wire the legs and wings, and attach a commercial-grade taxidermy form before closing your bird up, posing it, and grooming it.

About the class:
All specimens are sustainably sourced. Workshops are taught by award-winning licensed taxidermist Mickey Alice Kwapis.

What do students leave with?
Each student will leave with a finished pinned pigeon mount ready for drying and will be emailed a PDF guide on the process for future reference.

What is the cost?
Tuition is $300, which includes instruction, supplies, and a specimen to keep as well as aftercare instructions and a PDF guide to the process.
