What will students learn?
You will be provided with an animal that has already been skinned and fleshed so that we can dive right into the fun part! You will learn about skinning, fleshing, cleaning, wrapping bodies, carving heads, finishing work, and will be given a PDF guide to the entire process for future projects. One outfit per animal will be provided, but you can also bring your own garments and accessories. Vintage Barbie and Ken, Sylvanian Families adults, and Blythe accessories will fit our medium rats for this class.

About the class:
All specimens are sustainably sourced. Workshops are taught by award-winning licensed taxidermist Mickey Alice Kwapis.

What do students leave with?
Each student will leave with a finished pinned mount ready for drying and will be emailed a PDF guide on the process for future reference.

What is the cost?
Tuition is $300 total, which includes instruction, supplies, and a specimen to keep as well as aftercare instructions and a PDF guide to the process.
