After poking around in the tide pools at Second Beach and then running uphill to our cars, my friends and I somehow made the long drive south to Ruby Beach just in time to throw some rocks in the water, take some goofy photos, and catch the sunset. Miraculously my camera started working again, and I couldn't be happier about that.

The only thing I regret about this day is that I didn't get anyone to take photos of me with my friends. Some of the best memories I have from the past five years are with Josh and Jesse but there are literally NO photos of us together. Our road trip out to the coast was no exception to the rule - an amazing two days spent relaxing and joking with wonderful company. I can't wait until the next time I get to visit the Northwest.
